| Abstract: | Often a state company cannot compete against the private sector as far as salaries are concerned. The areas of effective competing can be: sabbatical leave may be offered for professional growth, training and development; career pathing enables employees with the requisite skills and aptitudes to move into various jobs available within the organization; a program designed to return employees to the member organizations; a management development review process; sharing information; keep employees inspired; premiums, reward systems; management style. |
