| Abstract: | BBC plans to enter the TV and radio receiver market and the company invited about 50 manufacturers to bid for a new portable radio set. The new construction should incorporate a row of improvements including the RDS self-tuning system. BBC wants about the same price as the now available sets have. The prototype will appear in the autumn by all probability. |
