| Abstract: | The Experimental and Development Department of IBA /Independent Broadcasting Authority/ works on the international standardization of new broadcast systems. The development of MAC improved the quality of reception of DBS, and permits the use of smaller dishes. It is working on Extended and High Definition TV /ETV, HDTV/. The other important field is data broadcasting. |
