Abstract: | Company-initiated job change processes are occuring constantly in economies like the U.S. and Sweden. A study was conducted to measure the health consequences of job changes. Associations between increased job control and health status were tested with questionnaire data from a random sample of full-time workers from national Swedish white collar labour federation (TCO). The evidence suggests that increased control and participation on the job could reduce illness. |
