| Abstract: | Government training programmes are often too remote and inflexible for local industrial needs. Local response to local needs can only be ensured by Training and Enterprise Councils. This is a report on the progress of Sheffield's Training and Enterprise Council which is improving the effectiveness of its training delivery in three areas - quality, relevance, and flexibility. |
