| Abstract: | Comprehensive in-company environmental protection is a precautionary measure to minimize the loads placed on the natural environment by company processes. Ecology-oriented management principles and practices are gaining access to every functional area within companies. However, this ecology-oriented management cannot be effective until the adequate measures are missing. A number of measures are specified in relation to goal seeking, planning, employee motivation, risk management, control within a strategic control loop, business activities throughout the company and production. A checklist is provided as an aid to the specification of environmental issues. |
