Abstract:The main aim of this study was to determine the most important work-group characteristics associated with the incidence of prosocial behaviour and voluntary turnover at the group level of analysis. Sales performance, as a potential consequence of prosocial behaviour in a service context was also discussed. Data was gained from a sample of 33 stores of a national retail organisation.
