Abstract:The basic formula of business policy measures the relation of solitary barriers to proceeds among different offers. Thus objectivized values can be established that prove to be helpful in practice. It causes for example that the management considers the price policy more intensely as an integrated element of comprehensive business policy. On this basis price comparisons become relative. Absolute undercuts that might lead sales departments to react sensitively can be realized as being insignificant for the price-sales conduct and vice versa. In each individual case and according to the competition situation it is important to find the optimal range of the price policy in relation to the solitary barriers.
