Abstract:This paper demonstrates the use of expert systems in international marketing decisions. The applications are appropriate for international marketing decisions, which may sometimes be complex and need expertise. A discussion is presented, of the use of the international marketing domain for expert system applications. An application called PARTNER, is described. The system shell, called "candidate evaluation" is applicable to any task involving candidate evaluation. Efforts for development of expert system applications in general and international marketing may give fruitful results. These tools allow for efficient dissemination of scarce expert knowledge.
