| Abstract: | M. Grade, Channel 4's newly appointed chief executive has decided to streamline its editorial structure to be competitive with BBC and ITV. In creating two new controllerships, he is streamlining the previous five-group structure. Some fear that in the name of efficiency, the channel would lose its originality, and become more hierarchical. However, Grade claims the new structure allows flexibility, and does not mean more intervention. |
