Abstract:Last month the Council of Europe abandoned proposals for a strict European production quota. But American companies can't predict how the European market and possible protectionist policies are going to develop. So they have to plan their market strategies very carefully to have a foothold in Europe.The first thing is to expand the sales and distribution service. The other way is co-production. Many US companies are aware of the cultural barriers to European expansion.
