| Abstract: | Philips Laboratories invited the press to their research center to see their HDTV hardware designed for US satellite transmission and reception. The Philips' HDS-NA system would be compatible with current NTSC hardware, which is essential in getting FCC approval.The aim of the HDS-NA system is that the consumer should benefit from both a satellite feeder signal and a terrestrial distribution signal. |
