| Abstract: | The new proposals for transmitter privatisation were written in a report for the Home Office. The report suggests awarding transmission to two competing private-sector companies which would split the U.K. geographically. Regional station was also possible but not desirable. Some criticised the idea saying the northern part is more sparsely populated and network problems can be more easily solved by one organisation. |
