Abstract:Depending on the type of business, international direct mail can generate sales leads, lure buyers to trade shows, or sell by mail order. Newcomers to a market can use mail to gauge interest in their products or services before making an expensive commitment to sales reps and distributors. But mail isn't a tool for every business marketer, as this article points out.
