Abstract:The aim of this paper is gain a better understanding of how consumers make choices in high involvement situations, in this case senior citizens choices about pre-planned funeral services. Affective, behavioral and cognitive aspects of attitudes are included in the ABC three-component model used in this study. An analysis of the questionnaires indicates that all the attitude components are not equally important. The behavioral component seems to influence most consumers' choice.
