Abstract: | The success of marketing destinations for Muslim tourists could be guided through studying Islamic teachings in tourism activities. This study aims to explore which Islamic attributes of destinations could be used as a base for tailoring Halal tourist packages. Qualitative data were gathered by performing two focus group discussions and 53 interviews in Malaysia. There are identified two major aspects possibly attracting Muslim tourists. |
