Abstract:Collapsing time is crucial in today's competitive environment. A 10-point agenda is presented to help one's organization started. They are: 1. Pioneer the application of information technology inside and outside the firm, 2. A revolution in organization structure, 3. Total process revision, or "administrate on" versus technology, 4. Measurement, 5. Wholesale empowerment, 6. Decentralization, 7. Adversary to partner, 8. No job descriptions, 9. Wholes, not parts, 10. Way of life. One can survive only by thriving in a time-competitive world with a six- to eight-layer organizational structure. The average front-line employee must be encouraged to go anywhere, talk with anybody, to get any information.
