Abstract:The price-demand function is one of the most popular market response models. This function is a key element of price management and its knowledge is a prerequisite for optimal pricing. Although the theoretical and managerial relevance of price-demand response functions is evident marketing researchers are not particularly engaged in searching for empirical methods to operationalize those functions. This article describes the Conjoint Analysis-Procedure of empirically determination price-demand functions thereby using an example as illustration.
