Abstract: | In the past decade consumers' awareness for environmental problems was growing continously. Especially ecological damage caused by increasing traffic and particularly freight traffic is dominating the discussion on environmental issues. For producers as well as distributing companies the question arises whether competitive advantages can be created by physical distribution strategies which take into account the ecological aspects of transportations concepts. |
