| Abstract: | Demanding shareholders, greater transparency in large financial organizationsÂ’ expenditures, increased emphasis on risk management and an overall market drive towards straight-through processing (STP) have all lead many of the worldÂ’s leading financial institutions to take a closer look at their systems environment and business processes. The European Investment Bank (EIB) took the strategic decision to reengineer and integrate its processes, strengthen its risk management capability and consolidate its operations into a single treasury management system. |
