| Abstract: | This study reports on a detailed examination of the price and quality positions of East European producers on EU markets comprising developments over the period 1988 to 1994. The raw material for this analysis was Eurostat's Detailed Trade Statistics, which contain detailed information on trade values and volumes at the eight-digit CN (combined nomenclature, six-digit NIMEXE before 1992) product level of trade to and from EU countries, claim the authors of the article. |
