| Abstract: | Motorola's six operating sectors in more than 30 countries deliver their previous month's financial data to headquarters by the second workday of the current month. Motorola has steadily shortened closings from a long time starting point of 8 working days to 4 (April 1990) to 2 working days (June 1992). Morever, since September 1994, most sectors have been executing day and a half closings. |
