| Abstract: | In this article, the author reviews an article by Herbert and Wallace which reports on a survey of UK chief financial officers (CFO's) drawn from 143 large, medium and small companies on potentially important research topics in corporate finance. This links substantially with a previous article in which developments in corporate finance over the last 25 years were reviewed. The author then reviews a book on mergers and acquisitions, recently written by Sudarsanam, providing a comprehensive view of topics relating to mergers and acquisitions. |
