| Abstract: | The world is becoming a global village. What is globalization, what is driving globalization, and what do these trends imply for companies and for managers? The twin forces of ideological change and technology revolution are making globalization one of the most important issues facing companies today. The extent and pace of changes in the next two decades will almost certainly be much greater than this far. The inevitability of these changes implies that companies today face a relatively simple choice: get on board or get left behind. |
