Abstract:The WCVB-TV - under the guidance of Mr. Wishnow - has won several awards for its programs on public affairs. Wishnow thinks that also this sort of programs can be transmitted worldwide by satellites. His "A World of Difference" has already been known in 30 TV markets and the "Beautiful Babies - Right from the Start" dealing with infant mortality is also a great success. His method is: First he chooses a community problem, then he turns to the social-service agency dealing with this problem for material, and finally he looks for a sponsor before starting work.
