Abstract:Toscanini conducted the NBC Symphony Orchestra from 1948 to 1952. That time his concerts were broadcasted simultaneously on TV and radio. The NBC experts have restored the original 16 mm kinescope and transferred it to 1-inch video tape. The hardest and longest job was to synchronize the new sound with the old sound. The 800-hour production work has been completed and NBC has been negotiating with many broadcasters on licensing the series.
