| Abstract: | Since the mid-1990s, China's economists have paid great attention to the rent-seeking theory in modern economics and by using it, analyzed the corruption phenomena in China and gained common recognitions of the basic nature, social conditions and consequences of rent-seeking. Based on the received concepts of the basic theories, the paper also analyzes the economic foundation of rent-seeking and explores the effective way to check it. |
