Abstract: | Few information service (IS) departments used the full power of project management software. But recently applications are getting bigger and more complex, as IS departments are taking on increased management responsibility for software that links together mainframes, mid-range computers, workstations, local area networks, servers, PCs and a whole array of widely dispersed and varying operating systems and applications. Some can even take charge of full life cycle CASE tools and hook them into the best methodologies. To respond to the increased use of CASE development tools , the leading vendors of project management software are pushing their way into the computer-aided software engineering market. Such software products are listed. |
