| Abstract: | The paper analyzes the degree of technology decentralization in 4 European countries, i.e. Belgium, United Kingdom, Portugal and Greece, using a sample of 145 multinational corporations' (or MNE) subsidiaries. Results underline the growing importance of decentralized R & D in the strategic re-orientation of MNE subsidiaries roles. |
