| Abstract: | In the paper, six real-world major strategic decisions are studied and the role that analytic Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) models could play in helping decision makers structure and solve such problems is discussed. Successful and well-educated managers who had access to quantitative decision models have been interviewed. The paper's approach is a clinical one, taking a close look at the decision processes. |
