| Abstract: | This meta-review article explores the paths taken by previous reviewers of the field of sports tourism. Discussed are core concepts, research areas, various subjects and/or disciplines, and various futures. In all, it is suggested that a clear indicator of the maturity of sports tourism as a field of study would be a 'comfortableness' with the existence of contested perspectives and ideas etc. |
