| Abstract: | The objective of this comparative analysis of the economies of Poland and of selected capitalist countries is to address the following three research questions: (a) What is the distance separating Poland from EU countries in terms of GDP per capita, labor productivity, and capital asset productivity? (b) What actions are necessary to accelerate improvements in efficiency, including changes in the composition of GDP and employment? (c) What supply-side actions are necessary to narrow the developmental gap separating Poland from EU countries? |
