| Abstract: | This article seeks to examine the areas in which changes have been introduced to the existing GATT dispute settlement procedures and assess whether these changes will be conductive to the advancement of dispute settlement processes in the multilateral trade field. The UR Understanding is a detailed document embodying a complex system of rules for the settlement of disputes, subject to specified qualifications, under a range of Multilateral Trade Agreements annexed to the WTO text. |
