Abstract: | The paper uses early childhood elicitation method to investigate how individuals in USA, People's Republic of China, and France were in the first place exposed to gambling in their own families when they were children. The analysis indicates that each culture has its own code for gambling, which reveals the culture's gambling myth. Understanding the cultural codes of each country may benefit marketers and help casinos market themselves more efficiently. |
