| Abstract: | The survey data indicate that compared with 1994, the proportion of the people who consider that the present social environment during the period of reform is very stable or more stable, increase from 28.5% to 30.1%. The proportion of the people who think that the social environment is very unstable, decreases from 19.2% to 6.9%. It shows that the public's socio-psychology is on the mend apparently. The forecast for how the social environment will change in the year to come shows that 35.8% of the people consider that the next year's social environment will be more stable than before, an increase of 5.1 percent point over 1994. The proportion of the people who think that the social environment will be not as good as this year's, decreases by 4.8 percent point. |
