| Abstract: | The proposal of a correction procedure for adjusting point-biserial correlations for attenuation by inopportune splits in the dichotomous variable, permitting estimation, related to Monte Carlo simulation evidence, and an example from employee turnover literature to illustrate the correction procedure. Variance restriction with dichotomous variables, mathematical development, and the results. Two Tables illustrate the study. |
