Abstract: | With Tianjin's economic development and improvement of residents lives, a large proportion of residents have come to have income that is at their own disposal and needed by entertainment consumption. In 1995 residents of Tianjin spent an average of 350.96 yuan a month, 7.1 percent of which went to living necessities, approximately 24.92 yuan. The coming of two-day weekends have brought more leisure to more residents. Out of the subjects surveyed, only 79 claimed that they had no spare time, no more than 5.8 percent of those surveyed. The rest had at least one day's leisure every week, at which they could go in for various recreational activities. |
