Abstract:This is the second part of a report on the baby foods market. This part covers manufacturers and brands, distribution, advertising and promotion, prices, packaging and prospects. In 1993, the baby foods market was led by Cow&Gate Butricia, with a share of around 24.7% of sales value, followed by Wyeth (SMA), Farley's, Heinz and Milupa. Combined, the top five manufacturers accounted for around 85% of sales value in the year of 1993.
