Abstract:Assuming that prices of the same month a year earlier are 100, the average index of prices of residents' consumption in 35 cities, such as Beijing, is 119.4. Class index numbers are: 127.7 for food stuffs (149.4 for grain, 141.3 for meat, 119.9 for eggs, 118.6 for aquatic products, 114.0 for fresh vegetables); 115.5 for clothing, 140.7 for household facilities and necessities; 109.0 for medical care; 97.0 for communications and communication; 110.7 for housing; and 120.3 for services.
