Abstract:Of China's gross national product, the respective percentages that the state-owned, collective and non-publicly-owned economic forms account for are 46 percent, 46 percent and 8 percent. Of the gross industrial product, the proportions are 41.2 percent, 27.8 percent and 31 percent. These figures indicate that state-owned economic forms are all along in a dominant position among the industries that are related to the national economy and people's livelihood. Yet the individual economic forms can also promote the development of productive forces, raise people's living standard and lessen the pressure of social employment. They are beneficial to the development of our socialist market economy.
