| Abstract: | The document stores of a lot of big companies flow over. Due to this, costs are soaring, the service is becoming inneficient and clients are dissatisfied. A team of Rank-Xerox has developed a new software, by which enterprises can cut the costs of document storage by several millions DEM yearly. The solution, which will stop the expansion of document stores and the huge paper flow associated with it is called Document on Demand /DOD/. The essence of the system is that an electronic data management system stores the contents of 500 tons of documents and print out the required information even in the most complicated composition. |
