| Abstract: | Standardized software is increasingly being used in nearly all business processes of the companies. As a consequence, administrative and dispositive management concentrates on the adjustment of the parameters which modular programs have. Due to the great number of those turnkeys and the variety of their side effects, it is hard even for experts to configure their system's parameters in the right way. Therefore, computer-aided access systems seem to be a promising approach to assist users in the parameter maintenance process. The paper presents a knowledge-based system for parameter configuration in the area of production planning and scheduling. |
