Institutes studying this field and information sources are mentioned. The importance of determining technological priorities is stressed. Methodological problems of long-term technological and market forecasts are summarized. The connection between the development of technology and markets is discussed in detail. Main steps of priority-setting are listed. A framework is presented as a set of questions identifying information required to properly evaluate the different technological areas. |
