| Abstract: | Since reform and opening up, with the increasingly marketing of economic operation, profound changes have taken place in the financial structure in China. The subject of savings has been shifted from the government to residents which have become the largest depositor and whose assets are mainly financial assets. To turn their savings into investment effectively under the new market economy, we need to adjust the present macro financial policy. To this end, we must push forward the financial reform and other necessary reforms and establish a mechanism of turning savings into investment, which features the coexistence of fully marketed direct finance and indirect finance. |
