Abstract: | The largest advantage electronic time recorders have over traditional mechanical time clocks is in payroll processing. This is true especially in companies using computerized payroll systems to calculate and produce information and checks. Today the majority of companies employing 50 or more people apply such systems. Computerized time recorders provide measurable savings in the time required to process payroll data and reduce the chance or error. The place cost benefit analysis is most apt to justify the great costs of computerized units. |
