| Abstract: | Because of increasing demands, corn will remain in short supply and firm in price this year in our country. At present, China's industry consumes 8 million tons of corn, and hospitals, light industry, food industry use over 1.7 million tons each year. Moreover, the annual per capita consumption of meat, eggs, milk increases by 5.6 percent steadily. Demands for corn will definitely grow with the development of feed industry. It is predicted that the domestic market price of corn will go up by 10 percent over last year. |
