| Abstract: | In 1995, China's price situation was better than last year. The whole year's retail sales of consumption goods reached 2059.79 billion yuan, up 28.3% or so. The objective of adjustment of and control over price was achieved with the rising range of retail prices standing at 14.8%. In 1996, in terms of marketing the stable operational state will remain unchanged. The retail sales of social consumption goods will amount to 2500 billion yuan or so, up over 20%. The rising range of prices will be narrower apparently. The general level of retail prices is expected to rise by 10% or so. |
