| Abstract: | The year of 1997 saw the further narrower increase margin of price, which was attributed mainly to the obviously narrower increase margin of food, especially grain price. In terms of adjusting function of price, enterprises' ability of allocating resources by using price leverage conscientiously has been enhanced. Overall, the prices in 1998 will possibly remain stable for both the macro economic environment and market supply are good. But there are also some unfavorable factors. The potential pressure on the prices' going up still exist. For instance the pressure of demand-pull and cost-push rise in price is still accumulated. The quality of micro economic operation is not high. There is no solid agricultural foundation for stabilizing prices. Regions, sectors and enterprises ask for rise in price with one voice. |
