| Abstract: | The importance Oregonians place on salmon recovery (here as: s-rec.) and their willingness to pay (WTP) for s-rec. efforts was assessed biennially from 1996 to 2002 through the Oregon Population Survey. It is found that Oregonians appear to have got less supportive toward s-rec. and s-rec. efforts over that time period. They were less likely to say s-rec. is important and chose lower WTP responses in 2002 than in 1996. |
