Abstract:Market response models explain the reaction of the market on changes in the marketing mix. Price being an element of the marketing mix price response models belong to this group. Two traditional procedures of determining the price response function , regression and conjoint analysis are presented and compared with the method offered in this article the socalled probabilistic price response model.
